Peter Cundall has been involved in gardening for over 70 years. In 1974 he won a Churchill Fellowship, travelling to USA, Britain and Africa to study garden design, children's playgrounds, organic growing and gardening television presentation and production. He has been broadcasting on ABC radio and television since 1969 and has been both host and presenter of ABC Television's 'Gardening Australia' since 1990. Peter is gardening columnist for 'The Weekly Times', 'Australian Doctor', 'Sunday Tasmanian' and other publications. He also writes specialist gardening articles and anecdotal stories for 'Gardening Australia' magazine and lectures widely throughout Australia. Peter remains actively involved with environmental, peace and child protection movements. He is a very active senior Australian and his passion for sharing his abundant knowledge about gardening is truly inspiring for Australians.
